Welcome to NALS of North Carolina!
The legal support profession is constantly evolving. NALS helps our members stay up-to-date by providing opportunities for national professional certification, networking, continuing legal/paralegal education, professional development, and more!
NALS was established in 1929 and has been a leader in the legal support profession since that time. NALS of North Carolina, the state chapter, was established in 2022 as a proud affiliate. By joining NALS of North Carolina, you become connected to a huge network of legal support professionals across the state and nation.

For decades, NALS has been providing National Professional Certification and quality continuing legal education opportunities for legal support professionals across the nation. CLE programs sponsored by NALS of North Carolina and *select national sponsored programs approved for CPE accredited by the North Carolina State Bar Paralegal Certification.
State Level - Continuing Education:
CPE credit is earned by North Carolina Certified Paralegals when indicated on the course program. Accredited by NCSB Paralegal Certification.
CLE credit is earned by NALS national certified Professional Paralegal (PP), Certified Legal Professional (CLP), and Accredited Legal Professional (ALP).
CPE and CLE earned at Annual National Legal Education Conference.
National Level - Continuing Education :
CLE credit earned by NALS (PP), (CLP), and (ALP) including opportunity to earn CLE credit on select courses through MindEdge - NALS affinity partner.

Annual - National Legal Education Conference
Membership with NALS allows you numerous opportunities such as special members-only in-person events, in-person network events, community social responsibility events, as well as discounts on a wide range of continuing legal education and professional development opportunities, NALS career center, discounts on national certification exam study resources and tools, including access to discounts with our affinity partners’ products and services.
Membership is not required for national Professional Certifications. Members receive discounts on exam fees and study materials.
